It's not absolutely perfect, but pretty great for a beginner. I use it to get to work, about 3 km round trip, and sometimes use it twice a day. The battery has been good although the speed, weight and temperature affect its life. I do take it up a slight hill to get to work, which obviously slows the speed down a bit. Based on research before purchasing I wasn't sure how much I would like it. If you're on the fence, I say go for it!
