My Very First Experience Riding a Hoverboard
Posted by Smart Wheel Canada on 17th Apr 2017
They say, “Curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought it back,” and riding a hoverboard has always been on my bucket list. Luckily for me, I visited Smart Wheel Canada for the very first time earlier this month and now I can say I checked one thing off my bucket list!
For those of you that aren’t familiar with Smart Wheel Canada, it is both an online platform and an outlet for self-balancing technology, personal transportation equipment, electric mobility scooters and hoverboards. Their experience centre in Burlington is a hub for action seekers and is employed by staff who are exceptionally passionate about their products.
At first, it was terrifying!
While everyone was flawlessly cruising around the shop, Kash, the Director of Business Development, was holding my hand and giving me tips on how to properly ride the hoverboard, but I couldn’t seem to get a hang of it. My hoverboard was spinning quickly and uncontrollably, so I wanted to give up. However, after removing my boots (which had a little bit of a heel), riding seemed a lot easier. It came natural to me. I slowly began moving forward and backward and spinning around with ease. Shortly after, I tested their Ninebot and electric scooters and those were an experience as well.
If you haven’t already, I highly suggest you visit Smart Wheel Canada and let us know on Facebook how your first experience riding a hoverboard is.
